Fans react as a black cat walks along seating behind first base at Sun Life Stadium. The cat was probably freaked to see people there more than they were to see him.
Rain delays and rain outs suck. So which team has been rained out most often? (roughly researched —just looking at schedules on espn.com and mlb.com and does not include games that we delayed but not canceled)
The New York Yankees with 8 postponements. (half of which are with the Orioles so if it seems like it rains every time those 2 teams get together, it’s because it does)
The New York Mets are a close second with 7 (with them all coming while playing the Braves (3), Rockies (2), and Marlins (2).
16 teams had 3 or fewer rain outs (the Dodgers had none).
The Florida Marlins only rainouts came at Philadelphia (2) and at New York (2).
Teams with a roof rained out rained out 13 times on the road with 5 of those coming from Tampa Bay alone.
This is what happens when I get bored during a rain delay.
The Marlins celebrate as Emilio Bonifacio scores on a walk-off walk in the 14th inning
Clouds move over a game between the Phillies and the Marlins at Citizens Bank Park
